I really love the 60’s.

I’ve been watching a lot of Mad Men and I Dream of Jeannie. The thing that I adore about the 60’s is just that they were all so elegant and classy. They, of course, followed the 50’s which were also pretty classy. What I don’t understand is the 70’s. The 60’s come strutting around the corner, all “Hey, what’s up, where’s my fur coat and false eyelashes?” and then BAM! The 60’s gets punched in the face with bell bottoms and afro’s. How do these two decades even belong beside each other? There wasn’t even a truly smooth transcendence.
